The Federal Executive Board directs the work of the Domowina between the Main Assemblies. It sets priorities, represents the interests of the Sorbian people and helps shape their future.
The most important body in Domowina’s day-to-day work is the Federal Executive Board. It may include up to 30 members, elected for a four-year term. The Board operates under its own Rules of Procedure, which are not part of the statutes.
The Federal Executive Board has a wide range of responsibilities. It makes decisions on Domowina’s ongoing tasks between General Assemblies, defines key priorities and determines who is responsible for implementing them.
It also reviews (financial) reports from the Chair, the Board, the management and the heads of departments, and approves financial plans.
In addition, the honorary members of the Federal Executive Board form committees, where they work together with external experts on specific topics such as culture or education. Another key responsibility is to delegate Sorbian representatives to other bodies. Through this, the Sorbian people – represented by Domowina – have a voice in more than 50 bodies and around 30 school boards in Saxony and Brandenburg.

When videos are embedded using enhanced privacy mode, no additional personal data is processed beyond this.
