Associate Members

The Domowina brings together individuals and associations worldwide who are committed to the Sorbian language and culture. Our associate members carry this commitment beyond Lusatia.

Domowina is not just active in Lusatia – it is also part of a global community dedicated to preserving and promoting Sorbian culture. Our associate members play an important role in this. They represent associations and friends of the Sorbs outside Lusatia who have joined forces to support Sorbian language and culture.

Associations and organisations working outside Lusatia can join Domowina as associate members. Cooperation is governed by an agreement that must be approved by the Federal Executive Board.

Our Associate Members

The involvement of associate associations in the work of the umbrella organisation is reflected primarily in regular exchange and the joint implementation of projects. Although these associations are not represented on the Federal Executive Board, cooperation varies depending on the organisation and has developed through long-standing collaboration. The focus lies on joint activities, reciprocal visits and continuous professional and cultural exchange.
