With the honorary award Serbski Dudak, the Domowina honours individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the language, culture and communal life of the Sorbian people.
The award “Serbski Dudak” (Sorbian Bagpiper) is a special distinction of the Domowina. It has been presented since 2013 and honours individuals who, over many years – often quietly and without public attention – have shown outstanding dedication to the Sorbian people.
Previous recipients have been recognised, among other things, for:

decades of commitment to language and culture
dedicated cooperation between Sorbian, German, Polish and Czech partners
