Democracy, responsibility and commitment shape the work of the Domowina. Our governing bodies shape the future of the Sorbian people, take decisions and are committed to preserving and further developing Sorbian life.
The Main Assembly, as the highest decision-making body, is the democratic heart of Domowina. Here, members come together to make strategic decisions for the umbrella organisation and to elect the Federal Executive Board.
The Federal Executive Board, as the executive body, oversees the implementation of resolutions and coordinates activities. The Presidium advises the Chair and prepares meetings of the Federal Executive Board. The Chair and two deputies form the leadership team and represent the organisation externally. The Main Office of Domowina manages day-to-day operations and carries out the resolutions.

The Main Assembly is the highest governing body of Domowina. It is a place of participation and shared vision for the future – the democratic heart of Domowina. Every two years, delegates from all member organisations decide on guiding principles, strategic priorities and the composition of the Federal Executive Board.
The Federal Executive Board of Domowina actively shapes the future of the Sorbian people. Between Main Assemblies, it makes important decisions, defines strategic priorities and represents the interests of the Sorbs in numerous committees and institutions. In doing so, it ensures that the Sorbian voice is heard – not only in Łužyca | Łužica, but beyond as well.
The Presidium makes the strategic and operational decisions of Domowina. It advises the Chairperson, prepares the meetings of the Federal Executive Board and ensures the continuous functioning of the organisation.
The committees of Domowina bring together expertise and commitment. Volunteers and specialists work jointly on specific issues and advise the Federal Executive Board. In this way, they support the strategic work of Domowina and strengthen its professional expertise.
