Über ein Jahr lang war die Stelle des Referenten für Gremienarbeit und ministerielle Angelegenheiten unbesetzt. Auf der heutigen 12. Bundesvorstandssitzung im Domowina-Haus in Hoyerswerda konnte diese mit Felix Rietschel neu besetzt werden. Ab dem 1. Oktober wird er als Referent in Cottbus arbeiten.
Felix Rietschel, in Nebelschütz geboren, hat Wirtschaftswissenschaften und Verwaltung studiert. Derzeit arbeitet er als Projektmanager im Sorbischen Institut. Seit 2021 ist er Mitglied des Bundesvorstands der Domowina und leitet den Ausschuss für Kultur und Kunst.
Außerdem hat der Bundesvorstand die Wahlordnung für die Wahl des 4. sorbischen stellvertretenden Mitgliedes aus Sachsen in den Stiftungsrat 2023-2027 verabschiedet und drei Mitglieder in den Wahlausschuss berufen. Bis zum 31. Juli ist die Öffentlichkeit aufgerufen, Kandidaten für die Wahl vorzuschlagen. Die Wahlen finden am 22. September in Slepo/Schleife statt. Der Bundesvorstand hat den Termin der nächsten Hauptversammlung, welche gleichzeitig eine Wahlversammlung ist, festgelegt. Die nächste Hauptversammlung findet am 05.04.2025 auf dem Territorium des Regionalverbandes “Jan Arnošt Smoler” Budyšin/Bautzen statt.
