Sorbischer Wirtschaftspreis 2026
Der Auszeichnungsausschuss für die Verleihung des „Sorbischen Wirtschaftspreises“ hat in seiner ersten Sitzung am 30. März 2026 die Bewerbungsfrist für das diesjährige Verfahren festgelegt. Vorschläge und Bewerbungen können demnach bis zum 31. August 2026 eingereicht werden. Dem Ausschuss gehören Sebastian Benad, Caroline Miersch, Robert Engel, Gesine Kutter, Ronny Schkoda, Martin Grunewald und Milan Funke an.
Unternehmen, Initiativen sowie engagierte Einzelpersonen sind herzlich aufgefordert, sich zu bewerben oder geeignete Kandidatinnen und Kandidaten vorzuschlagen. Mit dem Preis werden Unternehmen gewürdigt, die sich in besonderem Maße für den Erhalt und die Förderung der sorbischen Sprache und Kultur einsetzen. Grundlage der Bewertung ist ein festgelegter Kriterienkatalog.
Im vergangenen Jahr wurde der Preis erstmals verliehen. Ausgezeichnet wurden der Konsum Jänschwalde sowie die LARO-Handels GmbH & Co. KG aus Neschwitz.
