Während der Hauptversammlung der Maćica Serbska am 14. März 2026 wurden die Maćica-Preise 2025 verliehen. Ausgezeichnet wurden herausragende wissenschaftliche Arbeiten und Nachwuchsleistungen zur sorbischen Geschichte, Sprache und Kultur.
Den Bogumił-Šwjela-Preis erhielt Stella Kliemojc für ihre Arbeit zur Wirtschaft der slawischen Siedlungen zwischen Elbe und Oder. Der Förderpreis ging an Lucie Loichenojc für ihre Untersuchung zu Mina Witkojc. Mit dem Michał-Hórnik-Preis wurde Hilžbjeta Delanec für ihre Forschung zur katholischen Hólčina am Beispiel der Radworer Siedlung geehrt.
Der Arnošt-Muka-Preis wurde an Sofija Brězanec für ihre empirische Studie zu Motivationen beim Erlernen des Sorbischen verliehen. Den zugehörigen Förderpreis erhielt Tadeja Šeferec für ihre Arbeit zu obersorbischen Phraseologismen im Schulkontext.
