Maćica Serbska supports selected projects from the Salowski Fund that are in line with the association’s statutory objectives.
Salowski Fund
In 2010, Maćica Serbska inherited, in addition to books, a substantial sum of money from the estate of Měrćin Salowski. The Executive Board, which administers these funds, drew up guidelines for the allocation of financial support; these were approved by the General Assembly in 2023. The funds used to support selected projects from this bequest are known as the Salowski Fund.
Anyone wishing to apply for funding for their project from the Salowski Fund is invited to contact the Executive Board of Maćica Serbska with a project description and the requested amount of funding at:

2023 The Evangelical Lutheran Parish of Bautzen applied for partial funding for the restoration of the graves of Karl Eduard Hering and Johann Gottlieb Dressler at Taucher Cemetery in Bautzen. The project was implemented in 2024 and supported with €750.00.
2024 The researcher Dr Justyna Michniuk applied for partial funding for the publication of the book “Tradycje i zwyczaje Serbołużyczan na Dolnych Łużycach”. The project was implemented in 2025 and supported with €1,000.00. The Siebitz village community applied for partial funding for the erection of a memorial to Jakub Buk in Siebitz. The project was implemented in 2025 and supported with €750.00.
2025 The Sts Cyril and Methodius Association applied for funding for the purchase of costumes for the staging of the Passion play “Follow Me!” in Crostwitz. The project was implemented in 2025 and partially supported with €1,000.00.
