The Domowina organises and is responsible for the festival.
The project is funded by the Foundation for the Sorbian People, which receives annual allocations from public funds on the basis of the approved budgets of the German Bundestag, the Brandenburg State Parliament and the Saxon State Parliament.
The patron of the International Folklore Festival ŁUŽICA – ŁUŽYCA – LAUSITZ is Michael Kretschmer, Minister-President of the Free State of Saxony. In assuming this role, he underscores his support for cultural exchange and for the promotion of the Sorbian language and traditions.
Supported by Kulturraum Oberlausitz-Niederschlesien, which strengthens the cultural diversity and regional identity of the Lusatia region.
